Sibelco Australia

Everyday Sibelco Australia is making Straddie Stories happen. The company is intensely proud of sand mining’s 45 years of commitment to the Straddie community. Some of our amazing employees are now in their third generation working for us on the Island.

For the full lifespan of our project we have an investment strategy for enhancing the quality of life on the Island. We’ve funded projects like the One Mile pontoon, the Early Learning Centre and the Island Vibe Festival, and now we’ve established the Straddie Sand Mining Community Fund. This is just our way of investing in our Island’s greatest resource – our people.
